Transportation & Parking FAQs
About Transportation & Parking:
There are two different options for parking at TrailBlazer! You can park on-site, which is right on the mountain within a short walking distance to the Main Entrance. You can also park off-site, which is approximately 2 miles west of the mountain. We provide free round-trip shuttles between the parking lot and festival grounds.
ADA accessible parking is available at TrailBlazer on a first come, first serve basis for those with a valid handicap placard. Please purchase a parking pass in either our on-site or off-site parking and our team will do our best to park you as close as possible in the lot listed on your parking pass based on availability. Shuttles will be provided from our off-site parking lot to the festival.
Take the Hudson Line on Metro-North to Poughkeepsie Station. But before your trip, arrange for a Zipcar or taxi service to bring you directly to the mountain once you’ve arrived at the train station.
You can also save gas and take the bus! With so many different bus options, you’re certain to discover a hassle-free alternative to driving. Here’s a list of charter bus companies and tour operators making runs to Hunter Mountain on a regular basis. Click here for bus information
Depending where your car is parked for the weekend, you may or may not have access to your vehicle. Vehicles parked in our off-site parking lot will have shuttles running throughout the weekend for easy access. However, vehicles that are accompanying a Tent Only campsite will be parked in a separate off-site lot and will NOT be accessible throughout the weekend.
TrailBlazer Festival cannot guarantee Uber/Lyft will be available during the festival. Please do not rely on these ride share services.

There are two different weekend parking options for TrailBlazer: On-site & Off-site. You must purchase your parking passes ahead of time.
On-site Weekend Parking is located at the festival location. It is first come first serve, there are no reserved spots. Only patrons with on-site parking passes will be allowed to park here. Cost: $110 for the weekend.
Off-site Weekend Parking will be located at Hunter Airport. It will include a free shuttle to and from the venue. This pass is non-transferable. Vehicles may remain parked overnight. Only patrons with off-site parking passes will be allowed to park here. Cost: $50 for the weekend.
All Tent Campers will receive one (1) tent camping vehicle pass in addition to their tent tag. This pass must be displayed on their vehicle in order to drive up to the tent camping drop off location on Hunter Mountain. Following gear drop off, tent campers will be directed to a free off-site lot and may remain parked there for the weekend.
Parking is not included with Empire VIP tickets. Make sure to purchase your passes early to ensure you reserve a spot!
